We present optical observations of the black hole candidate LMXB SWIFT J1753.4-0126 with the 2.1m Otto Struve Telescope of McDonald Observatory. The Argos CCD photometer was used and 10s integrations were obtained on 19 nights in 2010 and 2011. We performed a period search using a Phase Dispersion Minimization (PDM) code and we obtain a period of 3.2448 +/- 0.0002hr. This new period is fully consistent with, and a factor of 5 improvement over, the PDM period of (Zurita et al. 2008). The individual light curves are complex and variable.
