We report the discovery and photometric observations of the M81 nova candidate designated PNV J09553266+6906072. The transient was discovered by K. Hornoch on co-added 4320-sec unfiltered CCD frame taken by himself using the 0.65-m telescope at Ondrejov on 2011 Nov. 1.142 UT. The new object is located at R.A. = 9h55m32s.66, Decl. = +69o06'07".2 (equinox 2000.0), which is 2.7" west and 132.1" north of the center of M81.
