We present results of 8 months of optical and infrared photometric monitoring the accretion disk corona source V395 Car (2S 0921-630) using the SMARTS 1.3 m CTIO telescope. Our observations of the low-mass X-ray binary reveal a clear, repeating orbital modulation with period approximately 9.00 days and approximate depths of 0.7 mag in B, 0.75 mag in V and 0.45 mag in J. We attribute this to a combination of the changing aspect of the irradiated face of the companion star and eclipses of the accretion disk in this high inclination system. Both appear to be necessary as a secondary eclipse of the companion star is seen. Some longer term variations are also seen. We model the B, V, and J lightcurves using a simple model of accretion disk and companion star and discuss the constraints placed on the system parameters. In combination with previously found constraints, we conclude that there is a good possibility that the compact object is a low-mass black hole or a massive neutron star.
