Solar-Terrestrial Relations: Solar Activity

The possibility that the luminescence intensity of cave stalactite microzones is an indirect solar activity index is investigated. Time series of this index over an extended period are obtained with different resolutions. Such series reveal that the luminescence intensity has a correlation relation to the activity similar to the thermoluminescent index of sediment nuclei.
