Numerical simulations of the accretion flow in magnetic cataclysmic
variables (mCVs) reveal a continuum of spin equilibria which span the
range observed in intermediate polars (IPs). We also locate the
condition for polar synchronisation in the Pspin /
Porb vs. magnetic moment plane.
