Evidence is found for a polar cell size that is smaller, by comparison with equatorial cells, by a factor of 0.9, through photographic recordings of several hundred bright Ca(+)-network cells on the solar disk. No indication was found of structural changes in the cells with heliographic position, and no size or shape differences were found in a sample of 12 cells from active regions by comparison to the rest, in quiet regions.
