Space-Borne Rubidium Atomic Frequency Standards, Reliability, Environment Factor, Environment Test, Reliability Test
Scientific paper
The space-borne atomic frequency standards play a critical role in many space systems, and the performance and reliability of the standards can influence the functions of the systems. The principle of the rubidium atomic frequency standards which have been applied widely to the space technology is introduced. The various factors affecting the performances and reliability of the standards are analysed, and the basic ways to enhance the reliability are discussed.
