We present initial results of a test to determine the feasibility of merging GONG+ and GONG Classic time series of SHT coefficients. A simple m and l dependent scale factor was computed and applied to the GONG+ time series to force their amplitudes to match those of GONG Classic. Seven days of data were then merged twice: first using only GONG Classic data and again replacing the Big Bear GONG Classic data with GONG+ data from Tucson. The resulting power spectra were compared.
