The fine time structure of multiple X-ray microbursts is investigated. According to the model, this structure depends on two parameters, one of which is the distance of the source from the ionosphere. Using the data of the SAMBO experiment on the time structure of X-ray multiple microbursts, the two parameters of the model are determined by a least squares method. The distance from the ionosphere is found to be 0.35 + or - 0.05 the length of the field line.
