With the advent of EIT/SOHO, SECCHI/STEREO and XRT/HINODE a fortuitous opportunity arises to test the robustness of coronal feature detection techniques. In this study, an image processing method is presented that allows coronal features, such as coronal holes and filament cavities on the solar disk, often hidden by the overlying coronal emission, to be revealed. Application of this method to the images taken by these three instruments at the same time is not only a test of the robustness of the technique, but also offers a novel way for comparing the quality and limitation of each data set. The different adjustments and processing steps needed for these data sets to yield consistent results regarding the boundaries of coronal holes at different wavelengths will be presented.
