Scientific paper

Observational data on the 27-day recurrence of solar phenomena are
examined. It is noted that the 27-day period of solar rotation is
unstable and associated with secular, 22-year, and 11-year activity
cycles, as well as with global torsional oscillations of sunspots with a
period of about one year.
