In the present work systematic observations of storm microseismic vibrations (SMV) are discussed. Vibrations of the intensities of SMV for oceans of the Northern and Southern hemispheres in the period 1979-1983 are estimated.
Due to an example of a deep cyclone, which had occurred in the Northern part of the Atlantic and the Barents Sea, records of SMV performed by seismic stations of Europe and Asia are considered. Locations of sources of excitation of SMV, their power and energy are determined. The mean power of SMV in their maximum phase (from 18 h 23 October 1983 to 18 h 24 October 1983) had a value of 1011 J s-1 and the energy transferred to the Earth's crust in the time span mentioned was ~ 1016 J.
All the parameters, determined for the SMV may characterize excitations in the atmosphere and the hydrosphere, areas of standing sea waves, and areas of origin of acoustic radiation.
