Radio Radiation: Uranus, Radio Radiation: Neptune

Scientific paper

The author has found the negative correlation between equivalent widths of the methane absorption bands in the visible region and mean brightness temperatures of Uranus and Neptune in the centimeter wavelengths during 1970 - 1990. The flux variations of Uranus near λ 6 cm pass ahead of the corresponding variations in the visual region by 2.2±1.4 year. The velocity of the signal spreading in the troposphere of the planet reaches 0.3 cm/s.
