In a previous paper [N. K. Kofinti, Prog. Theor. Phys. textbf{47} (1972), 1410] the author has shown that an extra boundary condition recently derived in general relativity is consistent with the Schwarzschild problem as well as with that of the stability of cosmological models. However, the question still remains as to whether or not Nariai's extra condition is truly new and is not just an identity. In this paper, a special model consisting of a flat and a conformally flat space-time manifolds is considered and it is shown that Nariai's condition may indeed be a new one in general relativity, at least in principle.
