Class I methanol masers and OH(1720) masers are formed, according to modern concepts, under the same mechanisms - collisional pumping. To establish possible association between these two kind of masers, a survey of class I methanol masers at a frequency of 1720 MHz has been carried out. If the model of methanol masers is true, in this sample must contain a statistically significant number of OH masers at 1720 MHz frequency on the coordinates of class I methanol masers. In opposite, it is required to make adjustments in the model of methanol molecule collisional pumping (or OH satellite line), if the number of OH masers is negligible. The observations were made in June 2010 with the 70-m radio telescope of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU). The sample included 117 sources (out of total number of 198 MMI - see http://www.asc.rssi.ru/MMI ), available for observations in Evpatoria (declination >35 deg.). Antenna beam width is 9' at a frequency of 1720 MHz. Autocorrelator spectrometer was used with a resolution of frequency 4,028 kHz (4096 channels, 16 MHz bandwidth) or radial velocity of 0.7 km/s at 1720 MHz. For initial data reduction of observations a specially designed frequency plan was developed. It allows to analyze the data coming from the spectral correlator - fabricated in the Institute of Radio Electronics of NASU. Results are presented in a 100 calibrated spectra. The analysis of the situation with interferences was made depending on the moment of observation, the source height above the horizon and the geographical orientation of the telescope. A statistical analysis taking into account previously published data was performed. Preliminary conclusions concerning characteristics of maser pumping mechanism of this masers and its possible adjustments were supposed.
