This paper presents the first results for the (J,K) = (1,1) and (2,2)
ammonia transitions observed in the direction of some southern galactic
H II regions, selected among the strongest H2CO emitters. Some physical
parameters derived for each individual source, including several new
sources of ammonia lines, are presented.
