Using the Hα-filtergrams from October 1991 to June 1992 obtained with the 26 cm solar photospheric and chromospheric telescope, the authors analyse the birth and growth of four typical emerging flux regions (EFRs). The early observational results of EFRs are confirmed, such as EFR heating chromospheric atmosphere and activating filaments before emerging from subphotosphere. Some new phenomena are found.
