Markarian 421 is a blazer-type AGN located in the Ursa Major constellation with a redshift value of 0.0308. Mrk 421 is a well known gamma-ray source which was discovered over a decade ago by the Whipple Ten Meter Telescope. This source is characteristic of periods of extreme flaring. It has been observed by the VERITAS observatory from Nov 2007-May 2010. In this presentation, I will discuss the analysis of the recent data from Mrk421 and how it compares to previous analyses.
