Observations were made at Kitt Peak with the National Radio Astronomy Observatory 36-ft telescope during two consecutive periods December 1973 and January 1974. A 1-mm system was used with a high performance three part bolometer. Observations showed a rapid decrease in the flux density implying a decrease in the global emissivity of the dust cloud. New information was obtained on the rate of dust production and the ejection mechanism of the dust from observations of a cometary emission at a wavelength of 1.4 mm.
