Solar Filaments: H Alpha, Solar Filaments: Solar Active Regions

Using the high-resolution Hα-filtergrams obtained at Ganyu station (Purple Mountain Observatory), a large filament which is associated with two active regions is investigated. Choosing various parameters and different formula of background field, both instability and stability situations are calculated. Instability includes upward or downward motions, or even filament disruption. Stability means that the filament oscillates along the Z-direction with a small amplitude.
