The two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic model of plasma motion developed in the present paper is based on a continuous release of high energies and large masses of incandescent gases into the solar wind. The interaction between the solar wind and the interplanetary magnetic field (generated by the general solar magnetic field) is taken into account. The flare-generated disturbances in the solar wind are assumed to arise in a region of the chromosphere shaped as a truncated cone. Allowance is made for the influence of solar gravitation and of the radial component of magnetic field intensity on the motion of the gas.
