For Part I see ibid., Vol. 67B, p. 109 (1993). Neutron capture nucleosynthesis takes an important role in stellar evolution and the production of heavy elements. Neutrons are produced in various reactions (i.e. neutron sources) in nucleosynthesis during different evolving stages, i.e. the main sequence stage, red giant phase, supernova stage and neutron star stage. In Part I the author explored how neutrons produced in one stage come into the next stage as a remnant and play an active role beginning nucleosynthesis in the next stage and ultimately neutron star formation as well as various difficulties and uncertainties in different evolving phases. The author presents a progress report on improvements in nucleosynthesis physics which have occurred through the measurement of different parameters with the help of advanced techniques and numerical simulations.
