(pvec,α) reactions on near magic nuclei was used to assign
unambiguously spin and parity to higher excited states using the
homology concept, in the regions A~208 and A~90. Here some preliminary
results, both experimental and theoretical for the
122Sn(pvec,α)119In reaction are presented. .
