The minimum duration of a fast nucleosynthesis process required for the formation of nuclei with A not greater than 240 is calculated. It is shown that the rate of formation of new chemical elements depends strongly on the temperature conditions; heavy elements form more rapidly in a dynamical r-process. Estimates of the initial density of supernovae were carried out.
