On the basis of Greenwich data on mean total sunspot areas for a Carrington solar rotation characteristics of fine structure of solar cycles 18 - 20 have been obtained separately for the N and S hemispheres and for the entire solar disc. An analysis of the N-S asymmetry at the extrema of the fine structure of the cycle for solar cycles 12 - 20 shows that the sunspot secular cycle essentially influences the fine structure of the sunspot 11-year cycle.
