In the paper, the nonradial oscillations of three models of the generalized Roche series are analyzed numerically to gain insight into the nature of the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the modes of nonradial oscillations of stellar models. The eigenvalues and the eigenfunctions of these modes are determined by a numerical technique based on the use of expansions in series of Chebyshev polynomials. It is shown that the nature of the spectra of the modes is not affected by the values of specific heat ratio and l-parameter, or by whether or not terms describing the perturbations of the gravitational potential are included in the equations of nonradial oscillations.
