Nonlinear parametric interaction of Alfvén waves with magnetosonic and ion-acoustic waves is considered on the basis of two-fluid magnetohydrodynamics. The pump wave is an Alfvén wave which decays into a magnetosonic wave and an ion-acoustic wave. A nonlinear dispersion relation describing the three-wave interaction was derived, and the instability growth rate was estimated. The kinetic effects in the Alfvén waves (the finite Larmor radius of ions) were found to be essential in the parametric interactions of waves.
