Nonlinear interaction of an Alfven wave with high-frequency waves is considered. The coupling of waves is realized due to the ponderomotive force, which arises as a result of wave interaction. The coupling of waves results in wave energy transfer from the high-frequency mode to the low-frequency one. These nonlinear processes can occur in the solar atmosphere and solar wind transition region during the solar flares.
