Propagation of gravitational wave packets in T-cubed x R spacetimes with one and two global spatial Killing vectors is examined. The analysis migrates from a regime where the linearized solutions are valid to domains that can only be addressed by numerical solution, with the intention of understanding the first nonlinear effects of the Einstein equations.
