Photon Counting: Methods Of Reduction

Scientific paper

This paper discusses the nonlinear distortion caused by blockage-leakage
in the photon-counting technique and proposes a set of new method to
decrease the defects. It is hopeful to greatly improve the linear range,
the sensitivity, the ratio of signal to noise and, then, the measure
accuracy for a photon-counting system.
