The thermal stability of interstellar molecular structures in pressure equilibrium is examined. The numerical solution for steady structures is found, and the analytical study of the nonlinear stability of the trivial solution is performed. It is determined how the molecular gas is perturbed in order to develop supercritical stability, subcritical instability, superexponential instability, or asymptotic stability. Physical processes were included to understand the effect of the processes under consideration and as a guide in more complex models.
