Numerical experiments reported in this paper demonstrate that the adiabatic non-linear coupling between pairs of adiabatic radial linear modes can lead to chaotic stellar oscillations. Our results thus corroborate a prediction based on KAM theory (Perdang, 1978). It is observed that the new class of chaotic motions continue to display an approximate periodicity, the amplitude undergoing however long time scale random fluctuations.
