In the present paper, the Combined Operations Method has been utilised to solve the diffuse radiation problems in inhomogeneous, non-coherently scattering, spherical shell media. A redistribution function is introduced so as to account for the frequency dependent source function. The relevant auxiliary equation has been formulated and itsN-solution sought. A scattering and emitting medium with a partially transparent core has been considered.
