OBSERVATIONS on the angular dimensions of the variable radio source 3C 273B by Palmer et al.1 using effective baselines of up to 2 million wavelengths have reduced the upper limit on its angular size to 0.025 sec of arc at a wavelength of 6 cm. A recent observation using a trans-Canadian baseline indicates that the source is unresolved at an operating frequency of 600 Mc/s and an effective baseline of 6 million wavelengths.
