Results are presented for micrometric measurements of the apparent diameter of Mercury using a double-image technique with a high-resolution telescope during transits across the solar disk. The best result corresponds to an optical radius of 2429 (+ or - 18) km along the two meridians centered at longitudes of 90 deg and 270 deg, respectively, in the IAU reference system.
