WE have identified twenty-seven galactic radio sources as supernova remnants by comparing 408 MHz observations from the Molonglo radio telescope and 5,000 MHz observations of comparable resolution from the Parkes 64-m radio telescope. The distribution of these and other supernova remnants with positions estimated from a new surface brightness-linear diameter relation has been investigated for evidence of galactic spiral structure.
