We present first results on neutron tomography obtained with a position sensitive, single neutron counting system exploiting Medipix-1 pixel detector developed at CERN. Thermal neutrons are converted in a 6LiF layer to tritons and alpha particles which are subsequently detected by a silicon pixel detector (4096 pixels, 170μm by 170μm each). Tomographic measurements were done using a parallel neutron beam. The neutron transmission was measured under different angles by rotating the sample. Projections of the sample are used for reconstruction of object slices with standard tomography methods. Results are demonstrated with 3D images of different objects.
