It is noted that observations performed at the Baksan Neutrino Observatory, now under construction on Mt. Andyrchi, may answer fundamental questions relating to the structure of the sun and resolve paradoxes associated with the registration of solar neutrinos. The astrophysical and nuclear-physical aspects of the solar-neutrino problem are discussed, and the question of whether the neutrino flux pulsates (Davis' experiments) is considered.
