The null results of a 21-cm emission search for previously optically undetected clumped neutral hydrogen, possibly residing in dwarf low-luminosity galaxies or protogalaxies, and of a search for neutral hydrogen absorption features due to objects in the line of sight to radio QSO's, have enabled setting limits, as a function of mass, on the space density of unseen H I objects. These limits are approximately the reciprocals of the volumes of space searched at each mass. It was calculated that the hydrogen density must be less than 6.3 times 10 to the negative 32nd gm per cu cm in the hydrogen mass range from 10 million to 100 million solar masses.
