The distribution of interplanetary neutral gases of interstellar origin
is recalculated. Several improvements over earlier solutions of the
problem are presented. This is especially true for the upwind and the
downwind axes, which are of importance in the analysis of the
observations of the back-scattered solar resonance radiation.
