Neptune's rotational period improved from 16.108 ± 0.006 h to 15.9663 ± 0.0002 h. Two features observed on Neptune for >20 years rotate with extraordinary stability. They pinpoint Neptune's interior rotational period at 15.9663 ± 0.0002 h. It is a major improvement in 346 years of measuring the giant planets' rotations. Eight more features also remained aligned in longitude. Winds near Neptune's South Pole are calm, but move 300 m/s eastward near 76° South.
