Atmospheric Windows, Bandpass Filters, Far Infrared Radiation, Infrared Astronomy, Infrared Filters, Spectral Emission, Atmospheric Optics, Tables (Data), Water Vapor

Interference filters adequate to isolate the atmospheric windows in the
30 to 5 per cm spectral region are described. The filters have a
half-bandwidth of about 2 per cm and, with suitable blocking, a
rejection factor larger than 100 million is obtained up to the visible
region.
