A generalized series encompassing the last 10,000 years is derived from global paleomagnetic data. An analysis of data on changes in C-14 concentration in the atmosphere over the past 7000 years shows the following periods in the spectrum of delta C-14: 600, 380, 80-90 and 34-40 years. It is thought that the 380 year period in the C-14 spectrum is caused by the same period in variations of the geomagnetic field.
