Various designs of statically determinate multimirror controllable
reflectors are examined. Particular attention is given to the designs of
spherical and parabolic multimirror systems which are kinematically
equivalent to statically determinate designs but possess a higher
bending stiffness. Shape-control algorithms are presented.
