A multi-input single-output (MISO) discrete time model is identified for the D st dynamics using the Nonlinear Autoregressive Moving Average Model with Exogenous Input (NARMAX) approach to describe the dynamics of the geomagnetic index D st under the influence of two solar wind parameters V B s and the dynamical pressure P. The identified model provides a concise representation for the evolution of the D st index and is able to forecast the dynamics of D st more accurately in comparison with previously derived single-input NARMAX models.
