The problem considered here concerns trajectories that are asymptotic with respect to the equilibrium positions of an autonomous Hamiltonian system with two degrees of freedom in the case of the strictly imaginary roots of the characteristic equation. The results are used for determining all motions that are asymptotic with respect to stable (to a first approximation) triangular libration points of a two-dimensional circular restricted three-body problem.
