Scientific paper

The paper examines the rotational motions of a satellite in the restricted elliptical three body problem. The periodic motions of the satellite in the nonresonance case are considered under the assumption that the satellite is a rigid body whose ellipsoid of inertia is almost a sphere, while the rotation of the satellite about the mass center occurs under the action of gravitational moments. Attention is given to satellite rotation about the mass center in the weakly elliptical three body problem, and to the motion of the satellite at the L2 equilibrium point.
