Scientific paper
Galaxy interactions have been suggested to play an important role in triggering AGN activity. In this context we have started to analyze morphological properties of nearby AGNs (z<0.1) and their environment. We have chosen an unbiased statistical complete flux-limited AGN sample of 101 Seyfert galaxies from the ROSAT Bright Survey (RBS). Here we present the research project and show first results. .
