We propose to image the entire 30 Doradus nebula in the molecular hydrogen emission line H2 1-0 S(1) and the hydrogen recombination emission line Br(gamma) with NEWFIRM on the CTIO 4m telescope. The proposed observation will produce the very first fully calibrated H_2 line map of the entire nebula. We aim to constrain the physical conditions and quantities in the photodissociation regions by the line fluxes and line ratio of H2 and Br(gamma), in order to complement our current investigation of stellar feedback mechanism in a starburst region. The proposed observations will also form a strong complement to existing multi-wavelength data, and to guide the future spectroscopic followup in selected regions of interest.
