There is some evidence that star forming processes could be taking place at the periphery of the neutral hydrogen supershell GS263-02+45. A young OB association (Bochum 7) was very likely formed as a result of the interaction of the expanding HI structure and a pre-existing molecular cloud, which we aim to discover. As disclosed by single-pointing CS line observations, a much younger generation of stars may be present in the same area, of which IRAS 08426-4601 may be the tip of the iceberg. We propose to carry out CO line observations (both 12CO and 13CO) to detect emission from the predicted cloud. Simultaneously, we plan to observe HCO+ to search for signatures of possible shock wave interaction between GS263-02+45 and the molecular cloud and CS (2-1) to look for high density small scale structuring within the cloud.
